Description
Provides for dual radio (Sat Terminal/LTE/ ROIP etc) control with single/dual/triple gateway connectivity or alternatively to provide two custom handset button driven switched outputs to attached 3rd party devices. Refer to XSJB/XFSB installation instructions for further details.
Dual-radio transmit is achieved by programming that handset such that a short press of the top Grey button on a Pro Plus Handset or the RED* right side button on an Elite Plus so it toggles the main PTT button to transmit on radio 1 or radio 2. ( LEDS glows Blue) or Radio 2 ( LED glows Red). We also recommend, that an Elite Plus handset be programmed so that the grey control button is programmed to toggle the main side Black PTT button so the user can easily swap between talking over selected radio or local Talkaround (LED glows Green)
All received audios are mixed and sent to all handset/s. If desired, either radio's receptions can have a short audio beep attached to the end of each reception that users can be sure on which radio the reception occurred. The audio level adjustments allow you to set transmit and receive volume levels to each radio as well as the audio level of the receiving radio's audio tag.
* The Elite Plus handset should be programmed for:
Long Press Red =Power On
Long Press Blue Volume Down button = Power Off
A single XSJB Smart Box allows three Elite Plus XRTG, XIVG (or standard) gateways allowing handsfree full duplex operation between all direct gateway connected handset users. (Headsets/earpieces required).
The package includes: one XIC-0.15 flat, black, 15cm interface cable. Note: Use of XDCI 12V DC-DC isolation adaptor is highly recommend when connecting to TDMA host radios example: P25 Phase 2/DMR/Mototrbo/TETRA etc
** Note: handsets require specific button programming also.
