Wireless Pacific has revolutionized the X10DR® XRTG Elite Plus Rooftop Gateway with a uniquely designed external mount housing. With this innovative packaging, the gateway can now extend its range up to 700 meters and achieve an IP67 rating, making it ideal for mounting on roofs or light racks. Additionally, when paired with multiple handsets, the XRTG Plus acts as a Repeater, effectively doubling the range between devices.

Due to its operation in the 2.4GHz band, even the best coaxial cables can suffer a 3dB loss on a 5.5 meter run, significantly impacting range and penetration. This makes the Elite Plus Gateway a superior choice for building coverage compared to standard gateway devices.

The XRTG Plus ruggedized housing mounts on a stainless L shape bracket and is fully weatherproof against the elements. XRTG operation has been confirmed up to 92C (197F) and down to -30C** (-22F) meaning it can operate externally in most environment extremes including external use on Fire appliances, pumpers, ladder trucks and other fire response vehicle types..

Touchless Pairing Process

Hold the desired handset nearby, pressing both its blue buttons until the blue LED flashes rapidly and the handset beeps (after 5 secs). Next, with the mobile radio powered OFF, connect the XRTG-EX2 gateway to the host radio interface XCA interface adaptor ( Red fused wire must be connected to 12VDC). A few seconds later pairing confirmation tones will sound from the handset and its LED will glow solid. Repeat entire process to add a second handset.

The standard XRTG-EX2 package includes:

AES 128 Bit Encrypted, Rooftop mount gateway, with L mounting bracket, XMPA multipolarity antenna, 6 meter / 20ft interface cable, user card and 12-month warranty.

Installation Options:

XIC-6.0 Outdoor shielded 6 meter - 20 foot interface cable is terminated with RJ45 connectors. Longer or shorter-length XIC cables can be ordered optionally. Note only our flat type interface cables are compatible. Order the XCA Radio specific adaptor to suit your mobile radio.

Order up to 2 sets of XEX2 Elite Plus X10DR Handset packages for use with each XRTG-EX2.

**Extreme Cold Operation:

Should you wish to use in extreme low temperatures, please advise (info@x10dr.com) when your order is placed as such deployment require use of internal heater elements and deployment in fixed installation locations must be such as to  prevent the build of Ice and Snow which can dramatically reduce operating range.
